I have excellent to impeccable technique with extensive backcountry experience. I charge from summit to valley and rejoice in challenging terrain because it makes me feel alive.

I choose a moderate pace and keep it moving with short breaks as needed and when hungry. I ride or ski at a faster pace in the open and on moderately steep pitches. I am slightly hesitant in trees or when snow conditions are challenging.

I approach challenges in the mountains with consideration but feel confident in my abilities. I maintain a consistent and relaxed rhythm in tough snow conditions.

Day 1- Airport shuttle with lunch en route to Posada del Rio Lodge Malalcahuello, social evening and dinner with your guide.

Day 2- Corralco Ski Resort at Lonquimay Volcano slackcountry or summit to crater drops if conditions allow.

Day 3- Ski touring and Splitboarding in La Fusta for easy ups through Araucaria trees and open bowls.

Day 4- Alpine start. Departure for Hot Tent location to ski tour and freeride. Finish day with happy hour in the mountains upon your arrival at basecamp. Salad, grilled zucchini, and stacked pork loin with bacon, onions, and potatoes for dinner. Heated tipi tents with floors, double walls, and sleep kits ensure your comfort.

Day 5- Your group sets the pace and helps decide the days objective. Wake up early for sunrise laps to ski all day? Sleep in and catch the Golden Hour? Or both, running headlamp to headlamp? Filet mignon, romanesco, and mashed purple potatoes from Chiloé.

Day 6- Splitboard and ski touring to freeride lines and laps or... Set out on a traverse to leave the zone with a drop or two on the way to the extraction point.

Day 7- Flex Day allows you the choice of upgrading to ski tour / splitboard or take the day to enjoy some off snow waterfalls and thermal tubs in exquisite locations. Programmed rest / weather day.

Day 8- Splitboard and Ski Tour to Cerro Cautin with freeride drops into the Mapuche Valley of Pehuenche.

What do I need to bring?
